![]() I don't know really anything about purebred cats, so forgive me if im wrong here. Your cat is so stunning, he's a real beauty!!!!! With as many pure breeds going to the shelter, why are people trying to create more breeds? ![]() Anyway as a person stated above, it's a crapshoot mixing breeds. My mother just sort of lost track of time, and she was under the impression you can't fix a female who is in heat or nursing. I know, in breeding is terrible and that is way too many cats. By the time I got there, there were 10 of them, along with 2 pure bred Bengals and an Abyssinian. My 80 year old mother failed to get them neutered. This is a product of the brother and sister the woman was taking to the shelter, since her experiment didn't go as planned. All of them are crazy for water, few play fetch. A couple sort of do that bark like sound the Bengals make. A few have huge feet for some reason and gigantic claws. It's the same color as my mothers pure bred Bengal. The grey ones actually have the copper highlights that sparkle in the sun, but that doesn't show up in pictures. Basically a lot of them came out polka dotted. Sarangs eyes are all better now, She's the little white one. Has far as I am concerned you are better of with a simple Tabby Cat. A lot of these cats are thrown out and abandon, The Bengal cat rescues are full up with this breed. My motto about a Bengal Cat is be prepared, and read up on this breed. I took a stray cat in last July 2013 I thought t was a tabby but in fact was a Marbled Bengal confirmed by two Vets and a expert Cattery owner. If it is a Bengal, people won't except it without papers. ![]() They are very active cat and need plenty of stimulation's. Thirdly they are very vocal, when wanting food or want to go out they yowl very loudly continues like a siren, and can drive you mad. Secondly they are very intelligent, they pick things up very quickly Tabby on the forehead you can see a distinctive M mark The Bengal.įirst, Bengals have short front legs, back legs are longer, you can get either Marble effect pattern or Spotted pattern. There are very slight differences between a Tabby and a Bengal, Bengal is a cross between a Short-hair Tabby and Wild Asian Leopard Cat, you may already know this. ![]()
